Few minutes to spare

I have about 15 minutes before I need to leave. Right now I'm in the office but my workday is over. I'm waiting for my 5 o'clock handicap bus to come to pick me up! c") I called the bus service on campus today to schedule my pick ups from work and from after class and today is the first day! YAY! I feel so special!

On Mondays and Tuesdays they will pick me up from work at 5 and take me to my classes. At 8:15, they'll come to pick me up again and take me to the train station from where T will come pick me up. The campus is crazy at 8pm and it takes time to sit in traffic to get away from here so this is a good solution for now. After my foot gets better, if it gets better, I will take the train from campus and T will pick me up from station closer to home.

Working and taking classes is a little bit of a challenge. This is the first time I've done it and managing time is an issue for me. I think everyone who knows me knows that I've never been one to do a lot of homework or studying but now I have to. Do homework at least. I sometimes cut corners on reading but as long as homework gets done it's all good. And unfortunately I can't be lazy because 2/3 classes have group projects and I can't exactly let down my group. SHIT! And the classes have strict deadlines too...I have 1 paper due next week. Doing some research for it now. Well I did anyway.

Work is much more demanding than it was during the summer. I was told by my fellow student assistant that it's a good time to do homework. Do research, print out papers, articles, read etc. Yeah, right! It's not demanding in a way that it would be difficult because it's not but there's a constant flow of new things to do. I guess I should be happy about it since some are out of work or don't have much work to be done during the day. And it pays the rent. Somewhat.

Gotta go now, bus will be here soon.

Later
