Making progress

I now know what's going with my foot. Or what my Doctor told me is going on with my foot. Those 2 could be different things...

So yesterday I called her to see if she had gotten my MRI results yet. When I called, they hadn't arrived yet and the secretary told me she would hunt them down and have the Doc call me once they got them. Since this was around noon and I hadn't heard from them by the time I left work, I assumed she wouldn't call me at all yesterday. I went to class and then my phone rings. She left me a voicemail, told me the MRI showed swelling on the bone where it first started hurting and told me that it indicates a stress fracture. Yay, I now know what's going on...but the sad thing is, there's nothing much that can be done for it, except rest. I was told to wear rigid shoes and use crutches. Simple enough except when you are at work and you need your hands to use the crutches and hold on to the papers etc. I need a new pair of hands. This house, our office is in 5 different stories, or is it floors (?) I guess technically it's like a 2,5 story house but when the kitchen is in the basement and my office is in the second to highest floor it's kinda difficult. Lot of the stuff I do involves either fax or copier...which are not in my floor. Up and down the stairs I go! Good times.
